Over the past year, the Faster Mustache bicycle club has shared some wonderful memories. Unfortunately, DVA doesn't remember any of them. So, I was thinking that we could make a Mustache Memory Book to help ol' Chinstrap put the puzzle pieces back together. Everyone, jot down your most cherished memory of time spent with David VanArsdale. A few days from now, when he remembers this website, he will look and his heart will be warmed. And maybe, just maybe... he will remember....

My favorite DVA memory has to be when we strapped his crank to the security gate on the front of the bike shop window with a ratcheting utility strap. We had two guys pulling on the wheel with the crank strapped stable, and two other guys holding the bike still in an attempt to get his cog off, which had been threaded so tight that no chain whip could ever do the job.
The bike shop was closed, Donald the official FM mechanic as on hand, and we were sweating profusely in our dress threads, on the way to crash meganandbo.com's wedding.
It should also be noted that this emergency repair was necessitated by DVA's encounter with a Marta bus.
You know this is mine...
Not long ago, DVA, the Mustache took a camping trip. You were there with your accordian and baguette straped to your bag. The first night there, you had a lot to drink...a lot. You were great fun and toward the end of the night when most of the Mustache was trying to get some shut eye, you and Kurtstache were fighting sleep (like the tough staches you are). You were still drunk and you were singing...but Kurt said something to you that I NEVER want you to forget. JustinLovin' and myself were slowly dosing off in the tent and then we hear Kurt say these magic words to you...
"Take a deep breath. No, deeper. Now let it out and say, This is the shit we were born to do."
I do not know what context that was in, but I know Justin and I had happy dreams because of it. That Kurtstache is one of our most motivational friends DVA...don't forget it. Don't forget him....come back to us. YOU CAN DO IT!

Panama shitty beach trip
David,
One of the first times we spent time together outside of Studio 104 was a beach trip to Panama Shitty with Justin, Claire, and X-topher. We experienced what you called a "great group dynamic", took awesome action shots on the beach, drank tons of miniature bottles of liquor, and we were "one bold move" away from a crazy XXX foursome. After that weekend we were lucky to see a lot more of you on future adventures. I hope you can remember....
