Here are the results from the 2010 Cyclocross season:
Rebecca Graham WON the Women's A category. For those who don't know, this is her first season racing cross. She started in B's, moved up after the first race, and raced strongly and consistently with tough competition. Congratulations Rebecca!
The Men's A race had strong representation from Faster Mustache, with Alex Clifford, Shey Lindner and Eric Nicoletti in 8th, 9th and 10th place out of 46 racers. Alex demolished his shifters at Jim Miller Park, and raced the last three A races single-speed.
Bob Bourne raced Masters 45+ and Single-Speed, bringing home 15th place (of 41) and 10th place (of 61) for those two cats! Nice work getting in the top 10, especially considering he didn't even have an SS set up until the third race.
I upgraded to B this year, and no one kicked me off the course. I finished 48th of 91 racers, and if my master plan worked, they'll all underestimate me next season. Best of all, the crest on the back of my jersey made a little girl cry at the Serenbe race, which made me feel really badass.
Bob Donlan, Jason Atwood, Ed Frayer, Emily Brock, Eric Burke, Chris Lewis, Christopher Rampton, Brian Gross and Tony Bullard all showed up for various races in Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina, and A-ron and Austin repped in Oregon. We all had lots of fun and showed fans that FM racers have more beers in more places.
Last but not least, Faster Mustache was 5th out of 115 teams in the Georgia Series Team Competition! Not shabby for a team that didn't exist three years ago!
