sweet!
cabbagetown/grant park/old 4th ward area now has a neighborhood bike shop! The fellas at no brakes have really widened their offerings, with a lot of sweet commuting/touring/rando stuff and as always, the best selection of track/fixie stuff around!
can't wait for the new location
congrats
Is that the building that got hit by the truck last year?

i'll let jon speak for himself here....
**looks like the dude above deleted his comment about 3/32 cogs and NJS fenders so below seems out of context**
a niche shop is a niche shop. but my impression on not stocking 3/32 items is that for track/fixed riding, 1/8 chain/cogs/rings are stronger and more reliable. why sell something you wouldn't ride yourself? same goes for not selling really low end stuff that strips out/wears out/etc. if you don't trust it, don't sell it - respect your customer. I'm overstepping my bounds though, it's just my opinion, it ain't my shop!
plus - they have always carried fenders! multiple types in fact.
come check out the new vibe/offerings on woodward!
A SHOP FOR CYCLISTS. :)
(and yes - it is in the same line of shops as the corner shop that got hit by a truck - one shop over from the corner)
Yep. I done deleted my snarky comment.
...'cos it came out too snarky. Shoulda read: "I'm glad nobrakes is branching out a little. I wish 'em luck."

I am of the same opinion
If you would not ride, drink, eat, whatever it, don't sell it. It is ok if you prefer other stuff you think is good too, but if you think it is crap or if it is not really your thing I think you waste time and good customer service pretending it is worth anything (or pretending you know about it).
Kudos to No Brakes. It is a tough business to be in.
