you can get seatbelts to haul passengers and look pretty cool. You wouldn't even need xtracycle accessories you could just load up the bin.

Even cheaper if you forgo the gears. People carry EVERYTHING on these things here.

but most Brazilian cargo bikes are not just wall mart bikes. People's livelihoods depend on these things, to they are built to last (they ain't light). So, for about 2 or 300 bucks you get a poor man's Kronan that will last pretty much forever.
