So this is how this is going to work. Making a form on the internets that encompasses all this is hard, so you're going to need to figure out what you want, figure out how you want to pay, and email all that info to team@fastermustache.org.
These are things you can pick from. Figure out what size you want, how many of what things you want, and write that down! Reminder: all team members are required to buy a top and a bottom (or a skin suit) and socks. You know who you are.
- short sleeve jersey $45
- long sleeve jersey $52
- summer jersey $55
- Criterium/MTB skin suit $115
- cyclocross skin-suit $110
- CS Tech Fleece Jacket $70
- Winter Jacket $90
- Windguard Wind Vest $43
- Bib Shorts $60
- Regular Shorts $52
- Summer Bib Shorts $72
- Lycra Bib Knickers $68
- Fleece arm warmers $17
- Fleece leg warmers $27
- Lycra shoe covers $18
- Summer (cycling) gloves $17
- Custom Swiftwick argyle socks $8.00
These are the ways you can pay. Pick one of them.
- Cash - get this to Kurt before Midnight on Sunday February 8th. e-mail him to schedule this. Don't expect him to meet you somewhere at 11:59pm on Sunday.
- Check - get this to Kurt before Midnight on Sunday February 8th. e-mail him to schedule this. Don't expect him to meet you somewhere at 11:59pm on Sunday. The check should be made out to "Chris Kelly". (I'm out of town but will pick all this up from him when I get back in town)
- Credit Card - This will be via Google Checkout. $0.20 + %2 of your total will be added to the amount due. If you want to pay this way, let me know and I'll send you an invoice that you need to pay before Midnight on Sunday February 8th.
So pick what you want, figure out how you want to pay, and e-mail all of that to team@fastermustache.org. If you have questions about any aspect of this, ask them here.
THIS WILL BE THE ONLY KIT ORDER THIS YEAR SO IF YOU WANT SOMETHING YOU NEED TO ORDER IT NOW.

dont forget
With your size, you must specify men's or women's (don't make us guess!) and with tops, race-cut or club-cut. Detailed info on sizing can be found here: http://champ-sys.com/custom/cycling/size-chart
And you can try stuff on at Outback Bikes right now.
CK
how tall are you?
5 10 or so.
5 10 or so.
.
what sizes are you getting?
any chance you could try on a winter jacket for me? i'm getting a medium per kurt's recommendation, but you and i are equally scrawny* and i'm nervous about getting a medium jacket.
*unless you've been hitting the gym lately.
I still haven't decided for
I still haven't decided for sure on sizes, and they don't have jackets to try on, and I won't be back in town until after the order is placed :)
That said, I'm pretty sure I'm a "medium men's race cut" for tops, and a "medium men's" for the shorts.
I'm 6' and skinny and a race
I'm 6' and skinny and a race cut large jersey fit me tight. It makes me look pro.
Yeah I went with the Large
Yeah I went with the Large race cut. I wanted to look faster. 6'2" 165lb. Just to give you an idea.
I did medium race cut
5'8 and 155... the medium club was baggier around the shoulders and chest and seemed about the same around the torso. Hopefully I get rid of this winter gut by the time the kits arrive...
.
5'9.5" and 130.
judging from yours and others' posts above, i'm feeling better about medium race cut
wow.
A large race cut fit you Bob? I thought it was about perfect for me and you're much taller. I'm 6' 150 lbs. You're trying to look huge aren't you :)
Regarding the jacket, their website says they are the same as the race cut sizing and they advise going a size larger because usually clothes are worn under them. See Kurt's sizing link above. A medium may still be right for you though.
Remarkable!
You would pretty much never see a subthread like this one, with public discussion of height, weight, and clothing size, from a bunch of women. There are like entire episodes of the Tyra Banks Show dedicated to trying to get women to admit how much they weigh.
Nice to see all the positive body image going around in the other gender... good job, men. Just sayin.
haha
honestly and positivity aren't necessarily the same!
:)
Tyra
Tyra Banks has a show?
yup
and how
T-shirts
So is there no chance of ever getting the awesome mustache logo on a t-shirt?
There will be, just not as
There will be, just not as part of this order.
Awesome. I had mentioned
Awesome. I had mentioned shirts a few times and no one ever seemed to respond. I'm glad you'll be making them at some point.
that's not a guarantee!
You may have to take it upon yourself to get the screens made, host the party and invite everyone over! [edit: i'll bring quesadilla ingredients]
Close but no cigar
There were some very nice Dick Lane Velodrome t-shirts printed last season...still available from No Brakes, I believe. The design has a winged wheel that looks sort of like the handles on a mustache.

a guy goes snowboarding for a week and misses out!
?
how was whistler? snow's been kind of sparse 'round these parts.
Whistler got a bit of snow
Whistler got a bit of snow before I arrived. So Sunday was reasonable. It dumped snow Sunday night and most of Monday. So Monday had awesome snow, but zero visibility. Tuesday was clear blue skies, sunshine and untracked powder nearly every run. No more snow the rest of the week, so it got progressively less good each day, but even on Friday I was still finding untracked snow (had to work a little more to get there is all).
should clarify -- the lower runs were icy as hell by the end of the week. the upper runs were good. Whistler is enormous.
yeah
whistler is some next level epic shit.
done and did
when you get tired of whistler, you ski/board blackcombe
2010 olympics, right outside of Vancouver, tons of europeans and other british commonwealth people
oh, you can buy cubans but you can't smoke inside anywhere in Canada, not even the smoke shop where you bought from
e-mail your order ASAP.
e-mail your order ASAP.
Timing all off
I'm holding off on this year's kits until I see what my financial/house-buying situation is. If I have to wait until next year, I'll just race in my wool.
I have some bellybutton lint
I have some bellybutton lint I have been setting aside for you. Should I mail it now that you won't be getting the kit?
Polypro belly button lint?
Does it wick? I bet Sharon could spin it into yarn and then knit a jersey out of it, given how much belly button lint Pat says you produce.
That is what I was thinking
Spin then knit it. It is reinforced with happy trail hair!
Pat needs to get a handle on his homoerotic fantasies of licking my belly button.
Cash is in, order is out, and
Cash is in, order is out, and thats that!
Want something but couldn't get in on this order?
* we did end up ordering some extra shoe covers, leg warmers, and gloves to meet minimums
* we will definitely have plenty of extra socks for sale
* Outback Bikes ordered a stack of short sleeve jersey's that they will likely be offering for sale.
We'll post something on FM when things arrive.
