Where did they get that stupid name?

There it was. Looming over the burnt crust of atlanta's ruins. As if God's servants were prophecizing the coming of the new age, of better and faster times. Man-sized letters announced the title to all who cared to read. FASTER MUSTACHE. Be warned.

I was wearing my FM shirt. Someone asked me what it stands for... I mention that it stands for Faster Mustache. This guy stops... pops up and says "WHAT!" Then tells me that his brother started a band called Faster Mustache. Just a bunch of guys with a love for music. I told him that the name came from graffiti found... and he finished the sentence for me. He could not beleive that Faster Mustache had carried over into a whole new meaning. He loved it. Currently the band is no more and his brother is now in Portland.

Then he sent me this.

Memorial Lofts

Hubcap City recorded one of their records in the bombed out hulk before it was converted to lofts.  In the liner notes they listed the recording studio as "the Faster Mustache building."

We, too, refered to it as the Faster Mustache Building. This tag was up for a month or so when Christopher first moved to A&P. Until they turned it into lofts. Now we refer to the A&P Lofts as the Faster Mustache building.
