Ahem...
too easy... I hope you are blushing once you realize what you wrote.
Remember the route is up to you
You have to get to the checkpoints, in order, by whichever route you choose.

note that the route was just updated to fix several instances where it was going the wrong direction on a one-way street.
.
wuss. i say make it a bike salmon race
careful
even bike snobs can get in trouble for breaking traffic laws

note that this is just the recommended route. we aren't going to recommend breaking any laws!
a good mix
I just rode the route and it is a lot of fun. There are plenty of fast miles for the roadies, some pleasant neighborhood roads for the rubbernecker, enough urban treachery to scare the uninitiated, and some logistical complexity to confuse the suburbanite (good luck finding elliot st!).
definitely more open
definitely more open straightaways on this route compared to last year's.
heh, elliot street!!
Errr.... is there a Clydesdale class?
Any folks over two sixxty doing it solo?
-Scott
Go Scoooooooooott
Do it man! If no one else is doing it will be even more badass of you to do it.
i heard last night
that there was a big dude riding in the race for APB's team. You might be the biggest solo so far tho. Do it Scott!
There is not a clydesdale class yet but we have been known to make up categories mid-race.
May I suggest then
Solo Brazilian Lawyers Who Live Abroad. I think the IOC is actually considering that as an official category.
Scott: DOOOOOOOOOOOOO IT. DOOOOOoooooo IT.
Done deal.
Will there be Snickers bars in da mix?

I'm just gonna resist the temptation of making yet another tasteless joke at this point.
Welcome on board. It shall be a pleasure to whup yo ass in the race, good sir.
Compliments from the trash talking committee.
Ya think...?
You sure you want a piece of me?
I will not only meet your challenge, I will be sure to shoulder check your skinny ass when I pass it on the course... The gloves are off good sir!
I love the smell of trash talk in the morning... smells like teen spunkmint!
-Scott
Bring in on, doughboy!
Ask around, though... you might find out that skinny doesn't really quite describe yours truly.
And by the way, I don't wear gloves. Real men have calluses.
(by the way, us trash talkers are also talking about getting a beer once all is said and done)
hah! I'll be having beers
hah! I'll be having beers long before its done (while still beating your fat ass).
Yes you will
Ain't you riding in the "I'm too whimpy to do it alone so I have five other people taking turns so I don't break my nails" category? Might as well drive when you take your laps so you won't sweat either.
Unless you're 6'4 and over
Unless you're 6'4 and over 265 you are skinny to me.
BTW, I have calluses on both hands, not just one like you... ;)
-Scott
Single handed callus
I'll take that as a compliment re: firmness. Who told you about that?
Gonna be a good race!
DUDE!
You may have an ounce or two on Tinkerbell, but you are one fast mofo! Glad we met and I look forward to next year.

I think I gots more then an ounce on you but it's all good bloke! I had a blast and look foward to crushing you next year!

Alex
I talked to a co-worker who said they saw a person riding in a gymnastic leotard outfit, I'm assuming this was you. You were noticed.
scorching hotness always
scorching hotness always is.
I think next year I'm gonna try to come up with a bona fide costume.
Elliott Street Deli and Pub in the HOUSE!!!!
Whats up guy, I feel honored to be a part of one of the Biggest Ally cat races in the country!!! The is going to be a blast. I have seen some of you guys and girls riding by checking out the route. For the folks last night who rode by, got a little treat from the GSU JAZZ grad students(12 people in and out full on jam of some rockin jazz). For the racers that dont know we got a party going on here during the race. Some good high Carb food (made from scratch mac/cheeze) Veggy sammys for the nothing with a face eaters and pulled pork BBQ for the full on Carnivors. 60" big screen showing Death Race 2000 the original, oh and dont forget the live burlesque show at 9pm from the BLASTOFF BURLESQUE. Racers be safe and have a fun ride.
Peace
Mike Jakob

hittin' you guys up before I fly off to London, and this time I'll be fully dressed. Thanks for all the support and cheering during the race. Drunken girls after midnight really helped the cause (maybe even more than water).
fully dressed = Boring!
besides, then folks can't see your weird tan lines
yeah
I'm definitely hitting y'all up before I go back to Seattle too. You have no idea how much I wanted to just stop and cheer with the rest of ya at some points. Must supportive crowd I've ever had for any sporting event. EVER!
Alex, when you goin' over there? Maybe I can meet up with ya, I'm free for the next two days set aside for goofing off in ATL
How's about Tuesday?
I'll make an event out of it.
