Folks, it's that time of year again! We have been hard at work these past few weeks, bearing the sweet burden bestowed upon us by lo these great summer days: picking and scrambling and cutting and scrubbing and freezing. We have spared no expense and borne worms and cuts and rot and dirt and danger and truly our efforts have have been rewarded! For we have made a bounty from mere crumbs cast off the table of nature's extravagance. Thus, in the tradition of bounties in all places and at all times, let us feast! And bring to glorious juicy and delicious culmination on this September 20th that for which we have worked so hard to share with you, our Good Friends.
Our gathering, the very first fourth annual CiderFest shall feature:
* Our largest harvest ever: almost 75 cubic feet of apples, all harvested from the metro Atlanta area!
* Free fresh, cold, delicious, nutritious and brown apple cider!
* Cider potluck of the finest craft and ingredients!
* Location on a spacious tree-lined field, perfect for lounging and loafery.
* Mirth!
* Live music!
* Swimming pool!
* Pedal-powered apple grinder! Bring your A-game!
* Trampolines!
* Dogs!
* On-location screen-printing of official CiderFest T-shirts!
* People! Every single person in attendance will be both physically attractive and enchanting. Some will even be from New York City!
* Spiritual cleansing and the fulfillment of hopes and dreams!
What you should bring: jug and a mug; your favorite dish; musical instruments; toys; an article for screen-printing; friends and family, and all creatures great and small, human and canine, in general.
