What still needs to be done to get ready for it? Has a route been decided on yet? Are we still waiting on people to make suggestions? I don't mind helping out some if it's needed.

When a location is decided on, I'll try my hand at a few route ideas.
I can talk to a buddy that
I can talk to a buddy that owns a bike shop and see if he can come up with prizes and some contacts from a few companies to approach.
I can also help with registration and such. I have some skills. Let me know how you did it last year and how you might want to do it this year.

route/location -> appropriate sponsors
sponsors -> prizes
prizes/entertainment/sponsors -> list of things we need to buy
location/sponsors/tobuy/capacity plan -> budget
budget -> registration fee figuring out
fee -> actual pre-registration
for each thing, someone takes it into their own hands, does it, and then the next thing happens. then theres all the stuff that has to happen race day. Sponsors don't have to be on the route, so that can start 6 months ago.

Tracking system is good to
Tracking system is good to go, minus the actual number crunchers (ie. PC's). But scrounging up 5 or six old PC's ain't no thing (I got two here in my room that act as paper weights).

I've an old PC that you can use if you deal with it's disposal afterwards.
I'll be back in ATL this weekend, so someone would need to pick it up Saturday (before 6) or Sunday (before noon)

and I know a non-profit that will take them when we're done, if they're useable. email me if you want it...

Ok now is there any updates on sponsors, prizes, entry fees, etc?
