I don't know any of you guys yet, but a buddy and myself are looking to compete this year and we are looking for some teammates. Any help?

My team from last year has been plagued by busy work/school schedules, marriage, and babies. We had six, down to 2 interested, possibly just one committed (me).

I'm semi competitive but like to supplement with beer in between sets.

My buddy Mark won't supplement, but he is an ironman dork and will ride fast. I'll have to work on him though.

I'm near GA Tech. My work/school schedule varies, so give a call or email if you want to ride...fixed, of course. Looks like the route is changing, so I'll be down for several dry runs. clif

Hi Patgoral, I ride 50+ miles, hilly, most Saturday's. Pedals click, gears shift, lycra shorts. Done marathons, triathlons, centuries. Can do 20+ miles in an hour, hilly solo, 25+ in a peloton. Looking for a team for FM.24.08. May be able to recruit another weekend roadie. How many do you have? Any team support? Tent? Hotel room?

Support for FM 24

Welcome to the wacky side of racing, Bill.

This may be a little different from other races you have been in as far as support goes. Generally, teams are self supported and SAG-ing, if it happens, is done by bike, often by a member of the team riding down to where his/her friend is.

Also, if you do get a hotel room, let us know. We'd love to show up with strippers.

Alright, well I ride

Alright, well I ride fixed/brakeless i average 30-40 miles a day. I am extremely competitive and have run marathons and stuff. My team mate is a road bike rider, he rides a full carbon Masi 3VC 105. Both of us are the types to supplement with beer between sets. He's 22 and I'm 19. I have a pretty hectic work schedule but I am usually available for weekends and such.
