Am I the only one watching the TdF?

It's been boring flat stages so far. Mountains are going up soon and I'm really hoping my boy Maurico Soler is feeling well enough to defend his KOM title. I think Sivtsov, who dropped everyone on Brasstown, should be a good opponent for him if he's healthy.

no

I'm watching, too.

I can honestly say I was relieved when the power went out while I was watching the ITT last night, because that was exceedingly boring.

I'm home today so I'll be watching the morning coverage.

Surely Y'all Heard

Alas! Juan Mauricio Soler (last year's sensation) will not be contending for any Polka-Dot-Jersey glory in this TdF. Surely y'all heard that he abandoned this very day... MP

Can't Go For Them

I don't like Astana. They doped too much last year. (Plus... you can't spell Contador without "Operacion Puerto.") MP

Hard to Beat CSC

Hard to beat CSC this year. In the whole "are they men/or are they machines" calculus, the lean more toward "machine." Carlos Sastre is kind of a boring (personality-wise) maillot jaune holder though. Oh well. MP
