Roger and I were discussing over burritos and que-sa-dealio's yesterday about possible locations for this year's FM24. Last year we hit capacity at Johnny's (250?)... so we brain stormed a bit and thought that Eye Drum might be a good place to host. What are your ideas?

200 racers last year, so 250 sounds about right for how many people we had. I think we do want more perhaps, but maybe not? Last year was a pretty good size.

Some discussions about this have led to Sweetwater being a possibility, but street access to it is kinda bad.

+1 for eyedrum.. big parking lot, big inside space, room for music, etc etc.

eyedrum seems like an even better idea than a bar.

and maybe we can get some catering from Daddy D'z. proximity to there should be the deciding factor. lets do it.

i dun see good camping out places from outer space.

Remember last year johnny's was good because people camped in grass behind it, connie/jess/san's backyard, etc.

Mike Jacobs, owner of Elliott St. Pub in Castleberry Hill has a fantastic location for our race. He is more than willing to host and has ideas for sponsors. His location is idea for bands and djs--he has a band set up on the street outside his place for special events. His location has room for 200+ riders. And his sandwiches are supertastey.
