On July 13, Faster Mustache is teaming up with the Atlanta chapter of SORBA to host a trail work day at The Conyers Horse Park Trails. If you have ever ridden your mountain bike here, you know what a fantastic trail it is. Part of the reason it is so great is because of the work of SORBA and volunteers who maintain the trails.
Help keep this trail in its current condition, prevent erosion, and create some new, exciting routes with us on July 13! SORBA is using grant money from NORBA to rent a trail machine and cut some new routes. We will be coming in afterwards to do the hand tool work. This is tough work so be prepared to sweat.
Lunch, drinks, and extras (more info soon!) will be provided by Faster Mustache. Tools and guidance are being provided by SORBA-Atlanta. I recommend you wear sturdy pants, shoes, work gloves, and a hat. Its also a good idea to bring a water bottle, sun screen, and an extra t-shirt.
You are welcome to bring your bike and riding gear. If you have the energy after working, you are welcome to ride the trails!
