i saw the beltline tour
on my way home yesterday. looked like a pretty huge turnout. (think: small critical mass)
i am a little confused as to why they ALL suddenly stopped in the middle of highland though, and just kinda stood in the street in front of the highland bakery.
there were muffins....
...lots of free muffins... :o)
The tour had several stops laid out along the route for people to catch their breath, grab some refreshments and listen to a GA State professor give mini history lessons. A lot of people were fairly new to cycling so the easy pace and stops came in handy (for the kids too.)
Great day for a ride. I thought it turned out pretty well overall.
