Shimano Tri shoe for sale +pedals

Looking to unload my size 47 full carbon shimano tri shoes and pedals. Switching to something more commuter friendly. They are up n craigslist at http://atlanta.craigslist.org/bik/645082427.html . Anyone here gets first shot at them of course.

I was gonna ask the same question. Next question: what is a size 47? As far as I can tell, thats a size 13. Paul, I don't think you wear a size 13!

Euro size-matching with US

Euro size-matching with US sizing varies a bit across brands. But I guess that American sizes vary across brands too. I generally take a 9 US but I take a 43 in my Diadoras, a 44 mega in Sidi and possibly a 42 in Shimano. Unless you're buying a second pair of the same shoes, I generally don't recommend buying shoes you haven't tried on.

These are about a size 12.5 US. Tri shoes are different from road shoes in that they have one strap for easy entry in a race and tons of ventilation and hole in the the front of the sole for water to drain out of when you put them on while wet. Besides that, they ride pretty much the same as any other road shoe.
