the doctor i went to at emory orthopedics told me not to bother with the sling, said surgery is almost never done for this sort of thing, then proceeded to show me where he broke his collarbone at yellow river.

it sounds like you made out pretty well as far as the fracture and will heal as if it never happened before.

hopefully you've been pretty nice to your girlfriend for the past few weeks.

Dude, that elevation map in Chris' blog post shows how hard he worked just before breaking himself. He got to enjoy none of the sumptuous downhill singletrack. That is the biggest injustice of all. I hope you get well soon bro. When you do, I'm gonna drive your ass up to that spot so you can ride the rest!

When I broke my collarbone back in the dark ages I had to wear that torture device. tic. Oh the memories, only one shower a week, but alas my shoulders are still square.

Good luck CK and you should still come down to the track when you can, just bring a stopwatch and watch for race specific tactics.
