The Great Sheldon Brown has died :(

This is a sad day. This guy was THE source for anything bike related. Vintage, fixed, recumbent... whatever...

R.I.P. Sheldon

He was suffering from various ailments for the last few years and wasn't able to ride much. I hope he is riding on that perfect early-spring day when you want to ride forever.

I bought a few items from Harris Cyclery over the years and exchanged a few e-mails with Sheldon--he was always helpful and quick. He will be missed.

We'll Miss You Sheldon

I've spent many an hour clicking, laughing and learning on Mr. Brown's site. I bought Sharon her birthday hub from Harris Cyclery. I highly recommend the ShelBroCo line of humorously fictional bicycle products.

Shit!

Shit!

In memory of Sheldon, and

In memory of Sheldon, and those fine ShelBroCo chain cleaning solvents, everyone should spend a little time cleaning thier chain the Sheldon Brown way!

Unchained Love?

I'm sad that Sheldon Brown has departed. Question: Has anyone ever taken the time to clean the chain the way he recommended. Seems like this would taken an impossibly long period of time... MP
