3,200 bicycle miles traveled. about 158.3 gallons of gas at 20 mpg. thats about $443 @ $2.80 a gallon. pretty fucking sweet.

also, the avg lap time for the top three teams combined = 42.7 min = 18 mph avg.
also, the first place team had 3 sub-40min laps 39, 39, 39
the second place team had 4 sub-40min laps 38, 36, 38, 37
and the third place team had 2 sub-40min laps 39, 38
super urban bad assness.
for distance comparisom,
for distance comparisom, those 3,200 miles are like riding a bike on roads from south florida to seattle, washington. Thats a long friggin way and the internet seems to think it would take 2.5 days in a car.
Thats also the same distance as biking in a straight line from Atlanta, GA to Lima, Peru. Dam.
I would like to add...
The Fourth place team also had 4 sub-40 laps. 39,39,38,38
Not counting the last super-celebration lap rumored to be a 38-er.....
sorry i didnt mention that
the fourth team was kurts sweet ass team, and he is being modest, he did all those sub-40 laps, one of which even with getting stopped by the police, gat damn.
kurts sweet ass team...
... might not have won the distance part of the race, but they certainly had a retarded lock on most awesomely badass team of the race, and also probably won the most total hours awake, with only 4 people totaling about 94 hours of awakeness.
I am still high
(a natural high of course) from this awesome event! Atlanta has never seen anything like this!
riiiigggghhhhhht
you are probably still drunk. ha.
cr - if only you could have
cr - if only you could have seen the drunkhappytobetherebutnotquitesurewherethereis smile on your face when i woke you up in the morning to get our key and then 54 minutes later to wake you up to go on your lap.
cr - if only you could have
seen the look on your face when you went from slightly buzzed to super, super unable to stand up drunk in like, 15 minutes because of the insane shit we'd all done all weekend...
