Ride your bike. Drink your beer. But don't forget to volunteer!!!!!

So, in order to make this years race even more successful and enjoyable than last years, we've organized the work that must be done during the 24 hour period and are asking that you volunteer a couple of hours of your time. There are three categories you can help out with in two hour shifts. Two people must be manning the check in/out table at all times. One person must be directing traffic at all times to ensure the safety of all cyclists leaving and entering Johnny's parking lot. There will also be a floater volunteer who can check in with me during their two hour shift to make sure there is no miscelaneous work that needs to be done. ie: Helping bands set up and break down, help with the table if it gets chaotic, helping with merch, trash, whatever needs to be done.

When you click on the registration tab on 24.fastermustache.org, the chart of jobs and available times is at the bottom of the page. Pick a desirable slot and email that along with all your registration info. You may also call or email me if you're not racing, or for any other reason, and you'd still like to volunteer.

It's a lot of fun to work the race. I met a lot more people by working a bit last year, than if I had just raced and mingled with familiars.
Gonna do it. do it. do it.

sign me up to volunteer please

I want to volunteer but I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to race or not (turns out, my schedule is crazy enough as it is. I'm not sure if staying up all night is in the cards for me anymore :\).

I shall alternate

between the table and traffic directing. I figured that I can get rid of some of the competition that way, and blame all on jet lag.

can teams volunteer in

can teams volunteer in blocks? It would be hard for me (as an individual) to chalk up a 3 hour block of time (our team is planning 15 minute laps =P) But maybe Team Dreadnok could take the 3 hour block and divide it up as we see fit.
