so uh, noone mentioned that

so uh, noone mentioned that the link to the waiver was broken (JP I'm looking at you..)

It works now. Go get waived.

regarding the waivers

do the waivers have to be delivered by each individual member of the team, or can it be anyone as long as it's in person? it is going to be difficult to get all of my members there tomorrow morning, but i can get them all to sign it at some point before then and deliver on their behalf.

also, the minors waiver is missing.

Dfunk's picture

Waivers need to all be

Waivers need to all be signed and delivered and fees paid at start of race. But not all team members need to be present to deliver said waivers and fees.

I think the minors waiver is the same, just need the parent/guardian to sign instead of the racer.

Alex's picture

btw

minor's waivers have to be signed by a parent, right?

X-topher's picture

parent or guardian

Basically, anyone can claim to be your guardian, but that makes the claimant responsible for your safety.

Also, yes, the minor signs the same waiver.

Alex's picture

hmmmmm

I am not entirely sure about that, but that is not my area of expertise (nothing really is, but that is even less than all others).

ckdake's picture

guardian has to be legal

guardian has to be legal guardian, parent, etc. but yeah, we just need the waivers and $$ at the start of the race. people dont need to be there.

YYYeeeaaahhhh!!!!

I did notice that! I think it's time to change my IP!

What counts as a downed/disbled rider?

That means that something is physically wrong with the rider, and not his or her bike, right? So we would be required to stop for someone who broke an arm, but not for someone who broke a frame, right?

good question, and what

good question, and what about flat tires? This needs clarification.

Based on conversations

If anything does wrong with your bike (from flats to complete disintegration), it is your team's problem.

If anything goes wrong with you (you pull a Melissa a Crazy Austin, or a V1ct0r, for instance, then other racers have to stop and help you out.

gracias.

oh no...

now i'm nothing but a "manuever".

you are correct. rider not

you are correct. rider not bike... if something is wrong with the bike, that's on the rider. if they have crashed or appear to be hurt in any way (laying on the ground clutching ankle, exhibiting the international sign for choking, or waiting to cross the street to fetch a lost arm) you must at least slow enough to yell 'you ok?' and wait for a reply.

Was a motorcycle

Was a motorcycle accident.....The whole gang ditched me......they kept on ridin'. My leg was layin' right out in the middle of the street. I remember......lyin' in the gutter, all bleedin' and shakin'. Starin' at my leg, right next to a beer can. And I remember thinkin'.....yep.....that's my leg. I wonder if there's any beer in that can.

Cavalry Revolver

Sometimes ya have to put a pony down, Alex, and not leave him or her to suffer. Use your best judgement, but here are a few guiding scenarios:

If Donald wastes his orange sherbert creamcycle, but otherwise appears uninjured, then you should still shoot him. His suffering is great.
If I've laid down on my left side again, down on the side that's a wildflower field o' bruise blossoms, then you should shoot me with all alcrity.
If v1ct0r spelunks another cavernous Atlanta pothole, shredding his bike and body, but not spirit, then you should assist.

I Should Qualify the Referrenced Included Item

Your love o' that bike is well-warranted.

(And, yes, the grammar was a bit tortured, however your grasp of sentential logic appears strong.)
