Determined:
Category: 24 hour urban race
Theme: Implied Binary Contrast (Day/Night, Good/Evil, Black/White, Light/Shadow, etc etc etc) building from the fact that the race will be half happy daytime racing, half gruesome intense night craziness.
Title: FM.24.06 (or some minor variation)
Message: There will be no stated message, however all promotions will be developed to convey extreme constrasts/duality. Also, all promotions will imply that "everyone is invited" and the race will be "extremely intense". Mention "second anual" (we've done this before and this time it is way more intense)
Ideation for graphics / posters: Early "teaser" posters will be very vague / ambiguous. Half will be Black on Black with dark greys with an evil theme. Other half will be White, light light colors with theme of wholesome heavenly goodness. These posters will be designed to build excitement / interest in the upcoming race.
Ideas for promotion: 24 hr race myspace page, 24 hr race live journal, advert on velospace, paint a sign on krog tunnel, create FM2406 stencil, paint an entire light pole red.....
Miscelanious: Must chose new date for race SOON! (current date conflict with Festival of Speed Season finale)
Proposed new dates: Sept 9 or October 7 (please discuss all conflicts here!!!!!!!)

Oct 7 is 24 hours of adrenalin at Conyers which hopefully will be a ckdake+christopher+panda+kurt+others type of thing. (some people named may not have been discussed to about this yet..). There may be other people intending to do Conyers that would be interested in this race.
Also, keep in mind ideas for promotion, 24.fm.org would love to be a good home and having everything tie back to it for things (like date changes) would be a Good Idea.

Festival of Speed at Dick Lane is on Sept. 23/24 Weekend
I proposed at the theme/branding/graphics meeting for a date change to either the weekend before or after, I can do both.
FYI- GT home football games are on Sept. 9th & 16th and Oct. 7th, all Saturdays
Therefore I slightly prefer Sept. 30th over the 16th. Let's knock out Oct 7 b/c of conyers 24 hour race, which leaves us Sept. 9,16,30? What's everyone thinking? Engage!

this would be a good idea to advertise the race... getting a stamp made would be very cheap and easy and it would give lots of exposure
