Howdy!

Last week three were assimilated over the course of 40 miles. We are now one. We will do it again.

For anyone who doesn't know, Fahrradgemeinschaft is a collective of bike people who prioritize fun in the 24-hour race, and will probably kick your ass while we have a great time. Last year we fielded two teams: Blitzkrieg and Team Keine Panik! This year we will add Team Fledermäuse, O Solitário and the Doppeluntergänger-G.

Monday night chill ride

This is a relaxed pace ride around town with plenty of time to chat and see the scenery. The distance will be 10 miles or so. After the ride we will get some dinner.

No drop, beginners welcome!

Bike MS Cox Atlanta Ride

For the 22nd anniversary, the Bike MS: Cox Atlanta Ride will be held at Callaway Gardens, located approximately 60 miles south of Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, and incorporates a figure-eight format. Varying route lengths of 25-mile, 65-mile and 100-mile options on Day One and 25-mile and 65-mile options on Day Two invite cyclists and families of all skill levels to participate. This will allow riders to have the Start, Finish and Overnight celebration all at the breathtaking Callaway Gardens. This route format will not only provide a route of phenomenal beauty and challenge, but it will also make planning for the ride much more streamlined.

Folks, it's that time of year again! We have been hard at work these past few weeks, bearing the sweet burden bestowed upon us by lo these great summer days: picking and scrambling and cutting and scrubbing and freezing. We have spared no expense and borne worms and cuts and rot and dirt and danger and truly our efforts have have been rewarded! For we have made a bounty from mere crumbs cast off the table of nature's extravagance. Thus, in the tradition of bounties in all places and at all times, let us feast! And bring to glorious juicy and delicious culmination on this September 20th that for which we have worked so hard to share with you, our Good Friends.
