I think someone called this a competing breakfast or something, but what's wrong with more cyclist breakfasts? ABC has one the first Thursday of the month at Thumbs Up:

Free coffee + nice people who ride bikes. What's not to like? Oh, and there's the light as a flywheel biscuits.

Join us for the monthly ABC Commuter Breakfast at Thumbs Up.

The first Thursday of every month we gather to welcome new and old cyclists as well as anyone who's interested in learning more about this clean, green, and lean mode of transportation, fitness, and recreation!

On Friday, August 15, cyclists will meet at Woodruff Park for a different kind of mass - Courteous Mass. Courteous Mass differs from Critical Mass in that it follows a planned route and all traffic laws. Courteous Mass is intended to demonstrate support for better bike facilities and safer traffic conditions, and is also a great opportunity for less-experienced cyclists to try riding on the streets and to just have fun. If you believe in a balanced transportation policy, join us!

Howdy!

Last week three were assimilated over the course of 40 miles. We are now one. We will do it again.

For anyone who doesn't know, Fahrradgemeinschaft is a collective of bike people who prioritize fun in the 24-hour race, and will probably kick your ass while we have a great time. Last year we fielded two teams: Blitzkrieg and Team Keine Panik! This year we will add Team Fledermäuse, O Solitário and the Doppeluntergänger-G.

The following people are welcome to join in this ride:

  • Past and Present Fahrradgemeinschafters
  • Potential Future Fahrradgemeinschafters
  • Curious Bystanders
  • Terrified members of other teams who want to spy on us.

Come one and all. It will be fun. We will brunch.
