An Atlanta summer classic gets a makeover - while the ride still benefits Project Adventure Kids, a foster home & school, it's now run by cyclists for cyclists. Changes include:

** Up Front Preferred Parking for Donors to PA Kids
** Team Pavilion near registration, for teams to gather & recruit

Tonight I wil be heading out for my evening ride to the mtn and back.
If anyone wants to go we can make it a no-drop ride to and from the mtn then ride for a set time doing laps if people want to ride faster.

Expect 20-30miles depending on how people are feeling.

We depart at 6:30am sharp unless we know you are coming and we all agree to wait for you, which may or may not happen. Don't be late!

Leisurely-paced ride to Dick Lane Velodrome to watch tonight's training races. A stop will be made en route to purchase cold beverages. Departure times from the track back to town may vary so familiarity with the route will be useful.

Classic Alleycat race with a few cool twists.

Meet @ 4:00pm in the parking lot of Outback bikes

Race from 6pm - 8pm.

Free show & Prizes for Racers at Five Spot afterwards.

Entrance is $10 and all proceeds go to The Atlanta Bicycle Campaign.

Ride out to Stn Mtn, do some laps then back.
This will be a relatively fast ride.

20-35 miles depending on who shows up and what everyone is feeling like.

On Friday, August 15, cyclists will meet at Woodruff Park for a different kind of mass - Courteous Mass. Courteous Mass differs from Critical Mass in that it follows a planned route and all traffic laws. Courteous Mass is intended to demonstrate support for better bike facilities and safer traffic conditions, and is also a great opportunity for less-experienced cyclists to try riding on the streets and to just have fun. If you believe in a balanced transportation policy, join us!

Riding a fast pace.

This is a relaxed pace ride around town with plenty of time to chat and see the scenery. The distance will be 10 miles or a little less. After the ride we will probably get some dinner. If folks have fun, let's make this a weekly thing.

Howdy!

Last week three were assimilated over the course of 40 miles. We are now one. We will do it again.

For anyone who doesn't know, Fahrradgemeinschaft is a collective of bike people who prioritize fun in the 24-hour race, and will probably kick your ass while we have a great time. Last year we fielded two teams: Blitzkrieg and Team Keine Panik! This year we will add Team Fledermäuse, O Solitário and the Doppeluntergänger-G.
